Best guide book for backpackers and budget travellers?
Any recommendations for the best guidebook to Peru, specifically for a backpacker/ budget traveller like myself?
I used lonelyplanet central america on a shoestring before, and it was great, but I dont want to carry around the HUGE south america on a shoestring just for the tiny section on Peru, and every other guide book on Peru seems more for the average or wealthier traveller, not the hostal-seeking, make-every-penny-count traveller like myself.
Any recommendations?
I got the Footprints: South America book which everybody told me was a whole lot better than the Lonely Planet. Although it is pretty thick also, there might be a Footprints book just for Peru
